Call for Maps -
ICA2009 Conference
In November 2009 the International Cartographic Association will
hold its conference in Santiago, Chile. Exhibit space has been
allocated for MSIA. Corporate and individual members are
requested to submit mapping products for display and entry into the
Competition. For more information about the

Professor
William Cartwright Announced ICA President
Prof. William
Cartwright was elected International Cartographic Commission (ICA)
President at the recent ICA General Assembly in Moscow,
Russia. Prof. William Cartwright is the immediate past
Vice-President of ICA. David Fraser is the new Chairman of
the ICA Commission on Education and Graciella Metternicht is the
Chair for the Mapping from Satellite Imagery Commission.

Membership Application Form may be Lodged Electronically

MSIA has made
the nomination and regrade form, required for obtaining
membership to MSIA, available for completion in digital
format. The revised form may be downloaded from the membership page and completed
electronically. Once finished, simply email the form to the
Program
Manager.
